ARRL Field Day

Always the fourth full weekend in June, ARRL Field Day is chock full of amateur radio & social activities for members of amateur radio clubs around the world. For the last few years, we have held our field day operations at Long Island Marina in Kars, ON. It usually consists of a surf and turf dinner Saturday evening with live music. Stay updated on the details by keeping an eye on our forums.

Monthly Meetings & Breakfasts

The Manotick Amateur Radio Group holds a meeting once a month on the second to last tuesday at 7:30pm EST at the Manotick Public Library. We also hold a social breakfast on the third Saturday of each month at Millers Oven Restaurant in Manotick. Guests are welcome, please join us!

Rideau Canal 175th Anniversary

In lieu of field day, for 2007 some club members operated special event stations using the callsign VC3R. This project was to commemorate the 175th anniversary of the Rideau Canal, and its designation as a World Heritage Site. See our Rideau 175 page for more information.
